Introducing UNICEF 360°

Through the power of virtual reality, you’ll witness first-hand what life is like for some of the world’s most vulnerable children. In our new 360˚ film ‘Karamoja Rising” by Idea Studio, visit Karamoja, Uganda - one of the harshest climates on earth. Meet Sylvia and Lochap and learn about their strength and hopes as they struggle to find clean water and get an education.

Then, in the award winning film, “Clouds Over Sidra” by Gabo Arora and Chris Milk, visit a Syrian refugee camp in Za’atari, Jordan and discover what life is like for Sidra and the millions of children whose lives are disrupted by conflict.

How does UNICEF 360° work?

UNICEF uses a specialized, custom camera rig to create a 360° experience that brings you closer to the field than ever before. Using your iPhone or Android smartphone, download the UNICEF 360° App below. Once it’s downloaded, simply launch the App, carefully securing your phone in the cardboard viewer, put in your headphones if you have them handy, and start watching. Turn your head in all directions and you’ll feel like you’re actually there.
